Blockchain is a developing platform for the internet of tomorrow. It is much more than a platform focused on financial technology applications and currency, it transverses almost all verticals. While it is true, that Blockchain is not a tool to serve all applications and solve all problems, Blockchain holds promises.

As widespread attention and interest continues to garner around this emerging technology field, it important to ask two questions: What is the state of the technology today? Where is the technology headed? Accordingly, the 2018 IEEE Global Blockchain Summit will bring together thought leaders, decision makers, and technologists to discuss the challenges and opportunities of blockchain technology.
