Abstract: Blockchain Technology for Complete Lock and/or Controlled Lock
Blockchain technology is considered as one of the most popular catchphrases in recent times. Blockchain is a publicly verifiable, shared, and immutable ledger for recording the history of transactions. While the immutability (read-only) feature of the blockchain technology is an important property, re-writing the transaction(s) in a controlled setup in the blockchain technology is also a practical requirement (e.g. right to be forgotten) in some applications. This talk aims to share knowledge on the growing importance of redaction in blockchain technology, emphasizing its contexts, opportunities and research challenges.
