IEEE Blockchain Transactive Energy Summit
3-4 February 2020 | Boulder, Colorado, USA
This two-day event at the University of Colorado focused on applications of blockchain in the transactive energy space. The summit featured keynotes, tutorials, peer-reviewed technical paper presentations, posters, demos, and exhibitions from world-leading service providers, solution vendors, research institutes, open-source projects, and academia.
The summit was a forum for the technical exchange of the latest research and innovation, regulation, policies, standards, and applications in the exciting and emerging area of blockchain for transactive energy. Co-hosted by IEEE Blockchain and the University of Colorado Blockchain Alliance (UCBA).
Blockchain for Telecommunications
This workshop & industry forum introduced the basic concepts of blockchain applied to telecommunications and discussed emerging trends and the challenges ahead. It also provided a forward-looking perspective on the emerging technologies and key applications in this new field.
Following the success of the first IEEE Blockchain-NIST Summit in 2018, IEEE Blockchain held a second edition to bring the best industry, government, and academy speakers to the 2019 IEEE Global Blockchain Summit. This 3-day intensive program covered the visionary hot topics, challenges, opportunities, and use cases in Blockchain technology. This year, a key theme was governance and regulation, and we had five panels addressing Government, Industry, Energy, Health Care, and Advanced R&D in Blockchain, led by government and industry visionaries.
