Advancing HealthTech for Humanity™
Virtual Blockchain Workshop

The IEEE Standards Association has partnered with precision medicine & patient-centric experts and platform providers to bring the first ever virtual blockchain workshop!

Collaborative Innovation. This virtual workshop welcomes healthcare practitioners, researchers, scientists, patient advocates, incentive designers, developers, students, and entrepreneurs interested in making an impact towards some of the real challenges in healthcare today. Workshop challenges focus on areas such as: patient anonymity, addressing the problem of counterfeit medicines, healthcare fraud and abuse, and other intriguing problems.

Empowering You. Intrigued by a problem and unsure about blockchain technologies? Interested in the technology and want to better understand how to think about one of the challenge questions? Don’t let that hold you back. Our platform providers will walk you through blockchain technology and provide basic training on how to use their platform. In addition, every problem statement has a committed expert to explain the problem in detail as well as offer to help address your topical questions.

Ready to Co-Create? Beginning September 26th, you’ll be able to register, access educational platform links and materials, use platforms and create! Participants will have until October 21st to co-create. Submissions will be evaluated 1 week before the most advanced solutions are highlighted at IEEE Computer Society’s The Rockstars of Emerging Technologies Event on November 2nd in the Silicon Beach area.
